    Dave’s Cottage at RusTx Ranch was designed, built, and decorated by your hosts, Mike and Nicole, in honor of Mike’s father, Dr. Dave. The cottage celebrates his life and zest for the great outdoors. He was an avid fly fisherman, hunter, and camping adventurer. He also enjoyed scenic photography. Hours of love and labor went into every detail from the stained concrete floors to the hand sanded and lacquered Colorado Ponderosa Pine Bluewood walls to the hand-selected and curated decor that remind us of his life and love of the outdoors.

    Book now and bring friends to one of our other cottages nearby for a fun getaway that’s sure to become a yearly tradition.

      The Harmony Cottage is a celebration of Mike’s sister Judy Carmen, who loved music, performing arts and butterflies. The beautiful cottage is decorated with incredible artifacts of sheet music, minstrels and photographs of her life. The moment you step into this cottage, you’ll know Judy. Her kind spirit and effervescence for life was contagious among her family, friends, and acquaintances.

          The Sports Memorabilia Cottage is a celebration of life providing support to the Will Strong Foundation dedicated to providing financial support for research to bring treatments to children diagnosed with acute Leukemia. Each of the two bedrooms, bathroom and common areas are full of unique treasures. The antique swivel chair will remind you of a childhood coach, and the classic golf shadow box is a wonder.
