Enjoy mornings on the shady front porch making plans for the day – a morning shopping trip to downtown Wimberley, an afternoon swim at Blue Hole, or watching a beautiful Hill Country sunset from one of the local wineries, just a few miles down the road, to name just a few.

Or, relax on our 5-rural acres with a good book and nothing but the sounds of peace and quiet all around. End your day in the country gathered around a firepit catching up with friends or helping the kids with hot dogs and s’mores.

    Bring your group to RusTx Ranch and reunite, play games, and share memories on our 5-acre Hill Country Ranch. Plan a Bachelorette or Bachelor party, Girl’s Shopping Weekend, Couple’s Getaway, Family or Friend Reunion, Winery or Brewery Tour, or even an Executive Retreat, and get your group back to nature in one of the Hill Country’s most popular areas.

    Our xottages are grouped in blocks of three, each of which has a central area with a charcoal grill, picnic tables, outdoor games, a fire pit, and plenty of space for your group to spread out.

    Each of the nine cottages has room inside for five to relax and have some privacy during the downtime. Each cabin in Wimberley, Texas offers the same amenities, but has a unique theme and feel.

    ABOUT THIS COTTAGE

    Ask any long-time Wimberley resident about EmilyAnn, and you’ll quickly see and feel the legacy her memory brings to the Wimberley Valley through the EmilyAnn Theatre and Gardens, home to the acclaimed Shakespeare Under The Stars program where hundreds of children and teens from all over the country have learned and participated in theater arts.

    The 12-acre gardens have also become one of the area’s top destinations for families from Houston, Austin, and the local Hill Country because of the annual events held there – the EmilyAnn Trail of Lights during the month leading up to Christmas and The Butterfly Festival each April. Don’t miss a walk through the gardens during your stay in Wimberley.

    EmilyAnn was a vivacious 16-year-old who excelled as an actress, costume designer, and equestrian competitor, her life was about helping people, especially young kids, understand how unique and phenomenal they were.
